Topic Category: Social/Emotional *Grade Level: K-12
Student safety has become an important topic amongst educators. We are continually finding new ways to keep our schools and our students safe. Learn how you can bring more Emotional Safety into your classroom through music therapy and mindfulness. Stacey Rhodes, MT-BC uses hands on activities such as drumming, guided meditation and songwriting to give you new skills that help your students feel more safe each day. Educators will be given resources for working with students who have experienced trauma as well as learn about mental health disorders and creating an appropriate learning environment for students who experience this.
I’m available to discuss and listen to you. Please fill out the following form so that we may carve out a wedge of time for each other. You may also reach me by email at Stacey@staceyrhodesmusic.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
